The All-New Collection - SOULVILLE

and A New Edition Of Best-Selling Beatles Tunes - ALL TOGETHER NOW

Little Monster Records is proud to announce the release of two new family music titles: Soulville and All Together Now. Soulville is an all-new collection of the best soul music from the 1960s and '70s, recorded by top artists and a sparky kids' chorus. All Together Now is a newly refreshed collection of favorite Beatles hits. Each CD is presented in a kid-friendly package designed for parent-child together time, and will be available nationwide on August 5th, 2008.

Soulville features a groovy array of hits originally recorded by the genre's giants: Bill Withers' "Lean on Me," Marvin Gaye's "How Sweet It Is (to be Loved by You)., Featured current R&B artists RedRay Frazier, Tabitha Fair and Chocolate Genius perform new arrangements backed up by a kids' chorus, making this one of the most sing-along friendly recordings in a long time.

The colorful book provides an introduction to soul music, with notes about the songs and original recording artists, plus fun poems that point to the importance of this genre in American history. According to producer Kevin Salem, "We hope the book and the music will spark discussion between parents and children about the broader social issues that soul music encompasses. It's really meant as a tribute to all of the greats in this genre, made kid-friendly."

Similarly, All Together Now is packaged with Nate Williams' award winning cover art and colorful liner notes that explore Beatles history with fun poems and artwork to enhance the experience of the music. The CD features Marshall Crenshaw, Rachael Yamagata, Steve Conte of the New York Dolls, Jason Lytle of Grandaddy and The Bangles singing with children. In its original 2007 exclusive release at Barnes & Noble stores, All Together Now quickly sold out its first edition. "We wanted to bring this fun release to a much wider audience this year," explains Salem.
